The Cayman National Cultural Foundation (CNCF) is calling on all visual storytellers to submit their work for Cayfest on Film 2026 the cinematic highlight of the annual Cayman Islands National Festival of the Arts (Cayfest).
This is your moment to showcase your voice, vision, and creativity on the big screen. Whether you’ve crafted a heartfelt short, a bold documentary, or an experimental piece that defies expectations, Cayfest on Film is where Cayman’s creative energy shines brightest.
Submissions are open from 1 November 2025 to 4 January 2026
This year’s film showcase embraces Cayfest's theme “Global Threads”, exploring how our stories, histories, and identities are interwoven across borders. From Cayman to the wider diaspora, Cayfest on Film 2026 will highlight works that reflect connection, migration, cultural exchange, and the shared experiences that bind us together through art.
The curated showcase will feature films made locally and by Caymanians abroad, spanning shorts, documentaries, music videos, and features.
Filmmakers are invited to submit up to two (2) films for consideration.
Please fill out one form per film.
While this year’s programming will reflect the Global Threads theme, submissions are not required to align with the theme to be considered.
Due to the curated nature of this limited screening, not all submissions will be selected. However, all works will be logged for potential inclusion in future CNCF programming.
Join us in celebrating the stories that connect us, rooted in Cayman, resonating worldwide.
